Vicarious Butterflies

Big track meet coming up on the 19th and I’m pretty excited. I hope to throw another PR (as always) but that’s not what has me psyched. No, it’s just that there is a very good chance I’m going to get to see a friend throw an age-group world record in the discus. She may even become the first woman over 50 years old to throw over 50 meters. Pretty Awesome!

Now that I think about it, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anybody set a WR in person.
